NOTICE OF DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE AND APPLICATION FOR COVERAGEUNDER THE STATEWIDE GENERAL PERMIT FOR BIOSOLIDS MANAGEMENT Notice is hereby given that Hayden Area Regional Sewer Board is applying to the Washington State Department of Ecology for coverage under the statewide General Permit for Biosolids Management. Washington Department of Ecology issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) on March 23, 2009, for the proposal described in this notice. After review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the agency, the Washington Department of Ecology has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. Copies of the DNS and the completed Environmental Checklist are available from Washington Department of Ecology at the address below. Persons wishing to comment on the DNS should direct written comments to Terri Costello at the address below no later than October 14, 2022. Think Tank Sanitation Processing Plant manages domestic septage through a septage dewatering system located at 11956 Road 24 SW, Mattawa, WA 99349. Think Tank Sanitation Processing Plant's Application for Coverage under the General Permit for Biosolids Management addresses the management of the material at this site. Currently the treated liquid effluent will be transported to an approved wastewater facility, and the removed solids will be transported to an approved compost facility.
