First responders observe Patriot Day

MOSES LAKE — First responders from around the Columbia Basin gathered in Moses Lake on Sunday in a ceremony of remembrance on Patriot Day. Thousands of victims, including hundreds of first responders, died in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Each year, the nation takes time to remember the fallen on the anniversary of the attacks.
