September 26, 1932 – September 3, 2022

Beverly L. Anderson, 89, of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away on Sept. 3 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Dallas, Oregon on Sept. 26, 1932. She married the love of her life Ervin V. Anderson on June 9, 1951; they were married 69 years. Together they raised three children. They moved to Moses Lake in 1964. Bev was an icon in the floral department at Safeway where she worked for 35 years.

Bev loved her husband, children and grandchildren deeply. Spending time with her children and grandchildren gave her a lifetime of pleasure. She enjoyed vacations on the Oregon Coast, family reunions at Lake Wallowa, her flowers and Kindle. Some of her favorite pastimes were dancing at the Elks, playing cards with the girls and, of course, reading. Bev will be remembered by all for her warm heart, her loving smile and her witty sense of humor.

Survivors include her daughter Barbara (Ed) Darwood, son David (Cindi) Anderson and daughter Carol Anderson (Scott Coombs); grandchildren Amy (Rob) Harris, Jason Anderson, Lindsey (Derek) Herberholz, Kyle (Jessica) Lepper and Conner Anderson-Coombs; and great-grandchildren Veronica, Gracie, Anna, Merijha and Matthew Harris and Rhys Herberholz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Anderson and her grandson, Bryan Ferguson.

Her internment will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the Mountain View Cemetery, 2120 Second Ave. Walla Walla, Washington. A reception will follow at the Walla Walla Presbyterian Church 325 S. First Ave. Walla Walla.
