January 25, 1964 – August 30, 2022

Lasaro G. Juarez, 58, has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2022, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

He was born on Jan. 25, 1964 in Seagraves, Texas. He moved to Washington state as a young child with his family where he continued to grow up in Royal City and was also a resident of Moses Lake.

He is a son, a brother, and uncle and a friend that will be truly missed. There was so much that he loved in life: classic western movies, driving truck where he fell in love with Kenworth and Peterbilt, his hunting days, his Pontiac GTO, his love for dogs, barbecue grilling or cooking his famous steak with homemade fries and ropers with his cowboy hat because of those strong Texas roots and telling us how good he looked. And of course, his special ability to make you laugh until tears were flowing no matter what health battle he was facing or situation you were facing. He always made it a point to make you laugh even when he was in pain.

During his health struggles his laughter never ceased nor his one-of-a-kind jokester personality and his big heart truly willing to give. This is just a portion of cherished memories he leaves for us.

Throughout the many years we witnessed strength, determination and faith. He truly fought the good fight no matter the battle he was facing.

His passing leaves a heaviness on our hearts, but we have peace and rejoice for his salvation and his eternity. And we rest in our hope knowing that we will see him again soon.

He has many nieces and nephews, but for a small handful who were raised with him, he will be forever their Uncle Las.

He is preceded in death by his mother Petra G. Juarez, his oldest sister Estella Juarez and his nephew Raul Jr. Juarez.

He is survived by his father Vicente Juarez Sr., his brothers Raul Sr. Juarez (Roy), Ruben Juarez and Vicente Jr. Juarez, and his sisters Esperanza Juarez (Hope) and Mary Baeza along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the youngest of his family.

A funeral service will be held at Quincy Assembly of God on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. with a graveside service following at Guarding Angels Cemetery in Moses Lake, Washington.
