Glen Smith, 76, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2022, at his home after an unexpected illness from cancer. He was born in Tunk Creek, Okanogan, Washington on June 4, 1946, son of the late Judd and Dellis Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Judd and Dellis Smith; brothers Stanley Smith, Billy Jo Smith, Dell Smith, Walt Smith, Gene Smith and Ted Smith and sisters Joan McVey, Nellie Lavender and Lila Kramer.

Glen was very well known and loved throughout Eastern Washington doing the things he loved, which were refereeing basketball for 50 years and horseshoeing his entire life. He also held on to lifelong friends from his high school days in Winlock. He always had a big instant smile and a quick joke for all he knew and loved and even for those he did not know. Nobody was a stranger to him; he wholeheartedly embraced all that crossed his path. He had a way with people just as he did with the horses he loved. Glen leaves a legacy of a loving and giving soul.

Glen's greatest love was for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave Him all the glory and praised Him with every breath til the day Jesus took him home. Well done, good and faithful servant.
