Spokane Aerial Performance Arts comes to Wheat Land
The Wheat Land Communities’ Fair hosted a performance by the Spokane Aerial Performance Arts on Friday.

With a couple of long and thick yellow silk ribbons, suspended from a stand similar to those that hold swings on playgrounds, performers of Spokane Aerial Performance Arts would climb up the silk to be about 20 feet in the air and dangle in different positions.
Other performers with the show had stilts of varying heights at Wheat Land Communities’ Fair which was held over the weekend.
Spokane Aerial Performance Arts was started in 2011 by Sherrie Martin. Now 63, Martin said that if she can do a pull-up and remain active enough for the show, anyone can.
The performers with Spokane Aerial Performance Arts are all volunteers. The troupe performs at a variety of venues around the region.
