Local pet rescue to hold food, supply drive
Taking care of stray pets takes a community effort and the Rock Bottom Pet Pantry is asking for the Basin community's help in ensuring animals receive the food and care they need.

SOAP LAKE — The Rock Bottom Rocker Pet Pantry will be holding their third annual fundraiser yard sale and animal supply drive from Sept. 16 to 18 in Soap Lake.
They will be accepting donations of new and gently used leashes, pet beds, toys, cat litter, food and other pet-related supplies. Donations will be accepted before or during the event.
There will also be a raffle for a gift basket. Every 20-pound bag of food, animal supply item or every $20 donated will earn an entry. There is no limit to entries and the raffle will be drawn on Oct. 15.
The money and supplies raised will go towards vet care, boarding, feeding and support of animals under the care of the rescue.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days at the B&B Man Cave located at 115 Daisy Street N. in Soap Lake.
