CITY OF MOSES LAKE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - 2023 BUDGET 6:30 P.M. ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022 The City Council of the City of Moses Lake invites all interested parties to attend a Public Hearing on November 8, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the preliminary budget figures for 2023. All questions regarding the city's budget can be directed to Finance Director Madeline Prentice by calling 509-764-3732. Interested persons may provide testimony either in writing or by participating in the Public Hearing. State of Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council Horse Heaven, High Top & Ostrea and Wautoma Solar Projects EFSEC Dockets #210011, #220212 and #220355 Site Tours Notice November 1, 2022 2pm - 4pm and November 2, 2022 9am - 11am Richland, WA Members of the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC) will tour the proposed Horse Heaven, High Top and Ostrea, and Wautoma Solar sites on Tuesday November 1st, 2022 and Wednesday November 2nd 2022. On November 1st, the tour will meet at the Howard Amon Park at 2:00 PM promptly and proceed to the two locations listed above. The tour is expected to last until approximately 4:00 PM. On November 2nd, the tour will meet at the Silver Dollar Café parking lot at 9:00 AM promptly and proceed to the locations for Wautoma Solar listed above. The tour is expected to last until approximately 11:00 AM. If you are planning to attend, please let us know by emailing EFSEC@efsec.wa.gov. The site visit is open to the public to the extent not disruptive of its purpose, but members of the public must provide their own transportation. We encourage you to carpool if possible to minimize fire risk and environmental impact to landowners. Maps for the Tours will be available on our website www.efsec.wa.gov. Those choosing to participate in the Wautoma Solar tour will need to sign a liability waiver before they can be permitted to enter the private land. You can find the waiver on our website www.efsec.wa.gov. Tour participants should avoid communications with Council members expressing a position or opinion on the merits of the Project, the proposed sites, or the proposed design of the facilities. Advocacy or discussion of project details beyond those necessary to understand what the Applicant has proposed may be considered ex parte communication and is not allowed. This notice is being provided as required by RCW 42.30.080 for special meetings under the Open Public Meetings Act.
