CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF MATTAWA WWTF IMPROVEMENTS ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $2,300,000 Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Mattawa, 521 East Government Road, Mattawa, Washington 99349, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the WWTF Improvements. The project's scope of work includes the construction of new secondary clarifiers, carbon addition system, generator, non-potable water system and RAS, WAS and scum pump stations, and modifications to the headworks, existing clarifiers and SCADA system. The Work shall be substantially complete within 350 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Mattawa" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Grant County Seeking Public Input at Open House for Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan, October 12 th in Mattawa Grant County will host an open house public meeting on October 12 th at the Wahluke High School library, 7 pm to 8 pm, to seek input as it continues working to update its plan to provide access to county facilities and services. The county is currently developing an Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plan, taking a comprehensive look at its programs, services and facilities for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act; including sidewalks, curb ramps, and pedestrian facilities. In addition to the open house meeting, the county has also launched anonline evaluation survey (Survey in English https://forms.gle/ckU8nJpwamN839pH7, Encuesta en línea https://forms.gle/hCq45DAg6QhbVY6X8).
