Looking For Coronavirus Response and Relief Specialist Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is seeking a Contractor for the provision of Expanding Access to COVID-19 Vaccines Grant. There is the potential for an additional grant to be incorporated into this contract for the CRRSAA No Wrong Door System COVID-19 Vaccine Access. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Disseminating credible information about COVID-19 vaccines and additional sources of information; Identify those who may need assistance in getting a vaccination within the AACCW six county region; acquiring transportation for individuals; scheduling appointments; providing technical assistance to local health departments and hospital jurisdictions on vaccine accessibility; providing personal support services. Preference will be given for direct experience working with senior centers, tribal and local governments, and Area Agencies on Aging. Experience managing government grants, working with local health departments and hospital jurisdictions is also important. The contractor must also have strong and effective listening and communication skills with the ability to utilize all forms of electronic, verbal, and virtual communication platforms. Travel within AACCW's six county region may also be extensive at times. Service area consists of Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties. Initial contract 11-01-2022 - 09/30/2023. Initial contract amount is $62,536.00 with the possibility of an additional grant of a lesser amount being incorporated into the contract, date yet to be determined.
