Background: The Bureau of Reclamation recently acquired an approximately 102-acre parcel of land as part of the Potholes Supplemental Feed Route Project. Previously, the property was a working dairy and must be remediated and restored. It is currently unsafe for public use until the remediation and restoration are complete.   Reclamation has taken ownership of parcel #170934000, located at 9327 Road 10 NE Moses Lake, Washington 98837, as part of the Potholes Supplemental Feed Route project.   Safety is a top priority for Reclamation. Due to the property’s recent status as an active dairy operation and the need for remediation of the property, Reclamation’s Ephrata Field Office has determined that the property is unsafe for access by the general public.   As of November 1, 2022, per 43 CFR 423.12, unauthorized public access to the property is prohibited because of remediation activities.   Further notice will be made when the property is re-opened to the public.   For questions, please call Reclamation’s Ephrata Field Office at 509-754-0202.
