Quincy senior Jalen Spence became a state champion over the weekend after notching a four-hundredths-of-a-second win over a Freeman athlete in the 300-meter hurdles.

The Royal softball team fell in the first round of the state tournament, ending their season record with 15 wins and 6 losses.
Despite taking a tough 10-0 loss in the first round of state, Royal softball players had moments where they celebrated the small victories of getting an opponent out.

The Quincy 4x400 relay placed 7th in the finals. The team was composed of sophomore Jayden Richards, senior Aidan Heikes (pictured), senior Ecduy Gordillo and senior Jalen Spence.
