Isaiah Martinez, 29, was arrested at about 2 p.m. after surrendering to Grant County Sheriff’s deputies and Moses Lake Police Department officers, wrote GCSO public information officer Kyle Foreman in a GCSO announcement.
Martinez had been sought by MLPD officers in connection with a carjacking in Moses Lake Wednesday, Foreman said.

Sheriff’s deputies learned Thursday that Martinez was at a residence in the 9500 block of Maple Drive Northeast near Moses Lake, he said..
“When (deputies) arrived there, Martinez then barricaded (himself) inside a backyard utility shed,” Foreman said. “More deputies and Moses Lake officers surrounded the property, and Martinez soon surrendered without incident.”
