ADVERTISEMENT - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PORT OF MOSES LAKE 2022 DEMOLITION PROJECT PORT OF MOSES LAKE 7810 Andrews St NE Suite 200 Moses Lake, Washington 98837 This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is being issued on Monday, May 9 th , 2022 by the Port District #10 ("Port of Moses Lake" or "Port"), acting pursuant to the Port's charter. Separate sealed responses, clearly labeled, to the "Port of Moses Lake 2022 Demolition Project" will be received by the offices of the Owner at the Port of Moses Lake, ATTN: Milt Miller, 7810 Andrews Street, Suite 200, Moses Lake, Washington 98837 until 2:00 PM (Pacific Daylight Savings Time) on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Proposals received after this date, time or via email will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Port of Moses Lake's conference chambers on Tuesday, June 21 st , 2022 at 2:00 pm (PST). The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified demolition Contractors ("Contractor" or Contractors") known to be experienced and regularly engaged in the demolition and removal of buildings, foundations, as well as the demolition and removal of site improvements, including but not limited to retaining walls, paving and foundation and landscaping in compliance with site-specific hazardous materials assessment requirements, including asbestos and lead abatement. Satisfactory evidence that the Contractor has the necessary capital, equipment, experience, and personnel to complete the work in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations will be required. The 2022 Demolition Project ("Project") includes the demolition and removal of (1) aviation hangar building and alternates for demolition and removal of its foundation and (4) other masonry structures. Each Contractor intending to submit proposals for this Project must participate and attend at least (1) of the (2) mandatory pre-bid walkthroughs scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2022 and Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Port of Moses Lake terminal building located at 7810 Andrews Street NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837. Contractors will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to entering any of the structures selected to be demolished. Contractors should come prepared with their own copies andsupplies to complete its evaluation. The Port intends to use Port of Moses Lake general funds to finance the demolition project herein. A project budget of $1,250,000 has been included for reference only and is not considered an engineer estimate.
