EPHRATA — People who want to use campgrounds operated by the Grant County Public Utility District can reserve campsites for some locations online.

Reservations can be made at www.grantpud.org under the “recreation” tab, then by scrolling down to the “visit us” tab.

Camping sites are available at the Crescent Bar Recreation Area near Quincy, which can accommodate trailers and RVs. Trailers are allowed at the Priest Rapids Recreation Area and Jackson Creek Recreation Area, both near Mattawa, but with restrictions.

Tents are preferred at the Sand Hollow Recreation Area near Vantage, although trailers are allowed if they meet the size restrictions. The Rocky Coulee Recreation Area allows only tents.

People can camp at dispersed campsites at the Buckshot Recreation Area, but campers are limited to three consecutive days.

Not all campgrounds require reservations. Campsites are first-come, first-served at Jackson Creek and Rocky Coulee.
