NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD May 17, 2022 at 3:25 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to consider the following budget extension requests: *Sheriff's Office in the amount of $75,521.12 to purchase qty. 55 -14" Panasonic Toughbook computers for their vehicles. Technology Services will purchase the units and have agreed to pay $194,880.00. The Sheriff's Office is requesting the balance be paid from Law and Justice Funds (#121) *Sheriff's Office in the amount of $6,567.29 (118.195) to purchase a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe that will be utilized as the primary backup K9 vehicle. *Coroner's office in the amount of $9,111.21 to purchase lighting for the new Coroner's vehicle. The Coroner's Office is requesting the balance be paid from Fund (#120). Any interested persons may appear regarding these matters. Grant County is also providing access to this scheduled hearing via WebEx audio. PRESS RELEASE Due to the 2020 Census, Grant County has experienced re-districting throughout the County. This did not affect all precincts in the County. If you received a new Voter Identification Card in the mail, it is because of the re-districting. If you did not receive a new Voter Identification Card in the mail and you are wondering if your precinct changed, you can go on-line to check you voting precinct. Go to voter.votewa.gov and it will ask you to enter your name and date of birth.
