Grant County Commissioners honor Public Works personnel

EPHRATA — On May 3, the Grant County Commissioners signed a proclamation recognizing public works staff and National Public Works Week.

“Public works professionals focus on infrastructure, facilities, emergency management, and services that are of vital importance to sustainable and resilient communities and the public health, high quality of life, and well-being of the people of Grant County...” the proclamation stated.

The proclamation also stated that the week of May 15-21, 2022, had been designated National Public Works Week and urged the citizens of Grant County to participate and/or attend ceremonies, celebrations and activities that are designed to pay tribute to public works professionals.
