JustServe looks to help Basin community support Ukrainian refugees
GRANT COUNTY - In a justserve.org project, a group of local community members are organizing help for Ukrainian refugees who relocate to Grant County.
“Many Ukrainian families have been forced to leave their home and find refuge in other countries. We are aware of nine families that have arrived in Grant County with very few personal belongings. These families are in need of housing and jobs but also personal and household items,” according to an announcement from justserve.org.
There are three ways for those who want to help:

2) Donations of new and gently used clothing items are needed. Please be mindful of your gently used clothing, we will not have the time or means to sort through and dispose of worn items. Donations will be accepted at:

3) Help is needed organizing donated items on May 6 at Soap Lake Elementary. The intent is to have the donated items organized at a central location and then these families will be invited to collect the items they need. 4) Donate at the Moses Lake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1515 Division Street on May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
