Three arrested near Warden

WARDEN — A Ritzville man and two Warden residents were booked into the Adams County Jail on outstanding warrants following an investigation into a theft near Lind.

Marcus Chamberlain, 30, Ritzville; Noe Duarte, 32, Warden, and Marla Duplichan, 55, Warden, were arrested on outstanding Adams County warrants, according to a statement from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported March 3 at a shop in the 1000 block of East Second Street near Lind. A substantial amount of brass fittings and other materials were stolen, the statement said.

Subsequent investigation led to the application for a search warrant for a property in the 4600 block of Road U SE. The search warrant was served at about 11:30 p.m. on March 8 by ACSO deputies, Grant County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from the Moses Lake Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team.

Investigators recovered a small amount of brass on the property, the statement said.
