Othello athletes recognized for academic achievement
Ten Othello wrestlers received state academic all-state or honorable mention recognition.

OTHELLO — The Othello High School dance and drill team was named Class 2A academic state champions, and four OHS boys wrestlers received Class 2A academic all-state honors. Academic state champions for winter sports were announced last week.
Wrestlers Forrest Roylance, Jaden Perez, Terrill Freeman and Victorino De La Cruz were named to the academic all-state team. Brandon Garza, Dallin Freeman, Juan Lauriano, Zakary Rocha, Jesus Gonzalez and Alexis Espindola were selected as honorable mentions.
The Othello High School Dance & Drill Team was named academic state champions as well.
