Maxine Marie Edmondson

February 22, 1934 – February 27, 2022

Maxine Marie Edmondson passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. Maxine was born February 22, 1934 to David Chadwick and Lela McMillian Chadwick in Ontario, Oregon. Maxine married Jack Edmondson in Ontario and they were happily married for 67 years.

She earned her degree as an LPN, touching many lives as she worked in Nyssa, Oregon. She and Jack moved to Moses Lake, Washington and she continued to help many others while working at the Columbia Basin Hospital in nearby Ephrata. She made a career change later in life and worked at American Potato until she retired.

She instilled a good work ethic and positive attitude in her children and grandchildren, and she made sure her kids knew life would hand you a few lemons and it was up to you to make the lemonade.

She was adored by all her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was known as “Treasure Grandma.” She was for sure a treasure for all those that were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her sister Susan King and husband Tom; her daughter Janiel Edmondson and husband Larry Harmon; son John Edmondson; and her daughter Lela Holland. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Justin Holland and wife Rachelle, Lindsey Stuart and husband Ben; Brandon Holland and wife Selena. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Jazmyn Vela, Brodie Holland, Ryder Holland, Paisley Holland, Mattison Stuart, Reme Stuart, Diem Stuart, Kinsely Holland and Maci Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her parents, her siblings Melvin Chadwick, Baby Nephi Chadwick, Ariel Chadwick and Daniel Chadwick and her niece, Nicole Edmondson.
