Heikes hits 1,000 for Jacks

YAKIMA/QUINCY - Quincy High School senior Aidan Heikes scored his 1,000th career point in the state game against Lynden Christian on March 3 at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

Heikes scored 160 points as a freshman, 284 as a sophomore, 116 as a junior and 461 as a senior to have a career total of 1,021 points.

Heikes became the sixth athlete from Quincy High School to ever hit 1,000 career points, just behind his best friend and teammate, senior TreyVaughn Bierlink, who hit the milestone on Feb. 19.

Heikes also had a total of 14 rebounds and 36 points in the three games Quincy played at the state tournament.
