EPHRATA — Property owners in Grant County will soon open their mailboxes to find their 2022 property tax statements if they haven’t already arrived.

According to Grant County Treasurer Darryl Pheasant, payments are due — half or in full — on Monday, May 2, since April 30 is a Saturday. If paying by check, taxpayers should include their coupon or coupons with their payments, though anyone making a payment on multiple properties can pay with one check, the Treasurer’s Office said.

For taxpayers making two payments, the second is due no later than Monday, Oct. 31, the treasurer said.

Payments can be mailed to the Grant County Courthouse at P.O. Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, deposited in the treasurer’s box in the north parking lot at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW in Ephrata, or paid online by clicking on Tax Sifter on the treasurer’s web page at www.grantcountywa.gov.

Taxpayers who do not receive their tax statements by March 10, or anyone needing more information, should call the treasurer’s office at 509-754-2011 ext. 4299.
