Moses Lake man booked in association with Okanogan Co. burglary
OKANOGAN — A Moses Lake man has been booked into the Okanogan County Jail in connection with a burglary near Oroville where more than $20,000 in cash was stolen.
An Omak man was still being sought Tuesday in connection with the case.
Samuel Adams, 28, was booked on suspicion of residential burglary, first-degree theft and on outstanding Okanogan County warrants, according to a press release from Okanogan County Sheriff Tony Hawley.
The burglary allegedly occurred June 26 at a residence on Chesaw Road, Hawley wrote. Sheriff’s deputies identified Adams and Brian Wallace, 40, Omak, as suspects. Adams was arrested Tuesday at a motel in Tonasket, Hawley wrote.
“(The OCSO deputy) was able to recover some of the stolen money as well as a vehicle Adams had purchased with the stolen cash,” Hawley wrote.
People who may have information about Wallace’s location are asked to contact OCSO, 509-422-7200.
