Kenneth A. 'Kenny' Schnirring
Kenneth A. "Kenny” Schnirring was born on March 20, 1952, at Sac City, Iowa to Vernon “Wheezer” and Dorothy “Dottie” Schnirring.
The Schnirrings moved to Moses Lake, Washington in 1955, where Ken attended public schools, played baseball and basketball and was involved in high school plays. Ken was employed in the aerospace industry for 20-plus years. He lived in Seattle and Olympia, Washington and later in Michigan for work. He traveled extensively before returning to Moses Lake.
He loved playing golf and fishing and watching baseball and golf. Kenny worked to become a golf professional, and became the general manager of the Purple Sage golf course in Warden, Washington. He managed to play golf even after he lost his leg and got a prosthetic leg.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three wonderful daughters Christine Andrews (Ty) of Lacey, Washington, Jessica Sweet of Montesano, Washington, and Ashelee Boone (Keil) of Marysville, Washington. He also leaves five wonderful grandchildren and one terrific great-granddaughter and a beautiful great-grandson. He is also survived by his sister Margie Schnirring of Cottage Grove, Oregon.
