Mesan Felix Ekoue-Totou

| June 15, 2022 1:00 AM

Mesan Felix Ekoue-Totou was born in 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts and tragically passed away in Moses Lake June 10, 2022. He was raised in Moses Lake, Washington as the youngest of three boys to Foster and Kossiwa Ekoue-Totou.

He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s in exercise science in 2021. His inspirations in life were to encourage those around him to reach their full potential through health, fitness and food. Mesan worked as a physical therapy aide at Moses Lake Sports Physical Therapy. Mesan played an integral part in managing their family-owned restaurant, Mom and Pop’s Diner, as one of the primary chefs.

Some of the things he enjoyed doing in his spare time are working out with his friends, making TikTok videos, creating instrumental music, cooking and developing his brand. Mesan had big dreams of creating a fitness platform to educate and inspire those in his community and around the world to reach their full potential. One of his major motivators was his family; they supported his dreams, goals, and aspirations.

He is survived by his parents Foster and Kossiwa and his two older brothers Folli and Kangni. There will be a funeral service on June 17 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake, Washington.
