Basin youth participate in sports
The Moses Lake Youth Hockey Association played in the Spring Middle School Hockey League with the Tri-Cities Hockey Association. The team played their final game of the season last week and came away having placed third in the league.

Local athletes don’t just participate in school-based athletics. (From left to right) Sophie Molitor, Josie Wilson, Carlee Howard and Ellie Molitor played in the basketball tournament at Springfest this year and had a great time. While they lost, they put in 10 points in their first match and 2 points in their second game, having fun the whole time.
A points-only rodeo was held in Othello Sunday and Kylie Stewart, pictured, participated in the barrel racing, goat tying, pole bending, breakaway roping and steer daubing competitions. Results were not available as of press time.
