Keith Easterly

June 1, 1941 – March 29, 2022

Keith Ross Easterly, 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 29, 2022, one day shy of his 59th wedding anniversary.

He was born in Brownsville, Texas on June 1, 1941, to Forrest and Opal Easterly. He lived there until 1984 except for his time served in the Army.

He married the love of his life Donna on March 30, 1963. They had four children.

Keith worked at Union Carbide in Brownsville until it closed in 1984 and he was hired on at Union Carbide in March of 1984 in Moses Lake, Washington. He took an early retirement at the age of 50 when he founded Christians for America.

He was an active member of Grace Harvest Church from its beginnings in 1988, where he became an elder and then pastor.

He was a member of the Moses Lake School Board and was actively involved in local and state politics.

Pastor Keith loved Jesus with all his heart, loved the scriptures, and loved his family and church family. He also counseled many people and led many to the Lord.

In 2019 Keith and Donna moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to be closer to family.

Keith was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a member of the prayer team and leader of a life group.

He is survived by his wife Donna Easterly; son Wayne (Sandy) Easterly of Keyes, California; daughter Sharon (Craig) Minor of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sister Kay Loop of Brownsville, Texas; eight grandchildren Johnny Douangphayvanh, Dana Minor, Joshua (Trish) Minor, Ashley (Steven) Holland, Brittany Easterly, David (Jani) Minor, Breeanna Easterly and Christian Easterly; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Keith Easterly Jr. and Troy Easterly, brother Kirby Easterly and great-granddaughter Carley.

His first love was God, then family, then friends, and then his country.

A memorial service will take place at Grace Harvest Church on Friday, June 10 at 11 a.m.
