Mary Helen Fisher, 64, of Moses Lake, Washington passed away on July 20, 2022, at her home after losing a 3 1/2-month battle with brain cancer. She was born on Sept. 16, 1957, to Arturo and Aurora Vasquez.

In 1997 Mary met Steve Fisher in a safety training class at the plant where they were both employed. They began dating and were married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2003, bringing their blended family together. In 2011 they renewed their vows in the Catholic Church. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and spending time with her husband at home.

Mary is survived by her husband Steve Fisher; her children Julie, Jacob, Stephen and Jennifer; her grandchildren Jaedan, Wesley, Drake, Penelope, Alley, Hayley, Cameron, Jaxson, Ezra and one more grandson on the way; her mother Aurora Vasquez; six sisters, two brothers and many other family and friends who loved her greatly. She was preceded in death by her father Arturo Vasquez and her sister Jane Vasquez.

Mary was a loyal, devoted Catholic. In her final days she enjoyed many Bible studies with her husband and was looking forward to "picking flowers with the Lord in heaven."

There will be a visitation and service held on July 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories.
