The Moses Lake Rattlers advanced to the A bracket championship game, bouncing back after falling into the loser’s bracket

The 13U Columbia Basin Riverdogs advanced to regional play, being held later this month in Kelso. The winner of the regional tournament advances to the World Series in Virginia.

Riverdog bats popped off late in the matchup, scoring several runs in the late innings of the 13U state tournament.

Riverdog pitcher Eli Nash got the start for the 13U Riverdogs against the Venom on Saturday, July 9.

The Moses Lake Rattlers defeated the Whatcom Wolverines 6-1 in the semifinal matchup.

Teams from the Basin, west and east sides were all present in Moses Lake for the 16U tournament.

A 16U USA Softball of Wastington state tournament was held at the Larson Playfields this weekend, bringing in 20 teams from around the state.

The top 10 teams with the most fish weight advanced to Sunday’s competition for a chance at the title.

Anglers brought up their five biggest fish to the stage for the official weigh in at the Shootout at Potholes tournament.

The team of Berto/Doucet had the top weight in Saturday’s competition, checking at 18.01 total pounds.
