| July 12, 2022 9:01 AM

Ernie was born to Arrie Lee and Ernestine Davidson in Rico, Colorado in 1941. He was raised and educated in Holden, Washington and Moses Lake, Washington. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to1963. In March 1971, he met Josie Tainaka and together they would get married in November 1985 and raise four daughters: Angela, Nina, Laurie and Roxanne.

Ernie liked to fish, build and operate both hydroplanes and drones, and play poker. What he loved doing was involving friends and family in his hobbies. He was known as a kind and caring person, a person who would always lend his ear and give advice too, a person who made you feel like family.

Ernie is survived by his wife Josie, their four daughters Angela, Nina, Laurie and Roxanne and several grandchildren. He would happily tell the world how proud of all of them he was and how much he loved each one of them.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, at Rainier Memorial Center, Yakima, Washington.
