NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD June 26, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to consider an Ordinance amending Ch. 11.34 of the Grant County Code titled "Operation of Golf Carts". The amendment would add a subsection entitled "Blue Lake and Moore Roads" allowing use of Golf Carts along these roads/areas. Full context of the ordinance can be requested by contacting the Commissioner's Office, including a list of road names and mileposts. Any interested persons may appear regarding these matters. Notice of Issuance of Determination of Non Significance Grant County has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: 2022 Amendments to the Grant County Comprehensive Plan, applications include site specific land use designation changes and zone changes and a UGA amendment. Notice of Application and Public Hearing: July 11 2022 Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit Application and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on April 11, 2022 from Maughan LLC (Designated Contact: Jeff Gallacci 22889 Rd P.8 SW Mattawa, WA 99349) and were found to be Technically Complete on June 27, 2022. PROJECT: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA to allow the establishment of a surface mine and extraction operation for gravel products. Approximately 1,500,000 million cubic yards of material are estimated to be removed from this site, which will involve 20 acres of a vacant 640-acre parcel. Current activities are livestock grazing.
