Quincy boys basketball team outdoes Cascade

CASCADE – The Quincy High School boys basketball team thumped Cascade High School on Friday, 90-43.

From the jump, Quincy came out swinging. In every single quarter, the Jacks were able to outscore Cascade, leading to the 47-point victory.

Quincy High School senior TreyVaughn Bierlink scored a whopping 36 points to lead the Jacks, with senior Aiden heikes contributing 21. Both scored more than Cascade’s highest scorer, which was junior Kaston Dillon with 20 points that game.

Quincy’s record is 14-3 overall and 8-1 in the Caribou Trail League. Its only league loss was to Chelan High School on Jan. 7, 58-64.

QHS will play Chelan for the third time on Tuesday for the league title. Chelan is also 8-1 in the league, having lost to Quincy on Dec. 9, 68-80.
