| January 10, 2022 1:00 AM

August 1, 1964 – December 16, 2021

Christine I. Delgado was born to Joe P. Delgado and Elvita Delgado, longtime Royal Slope farmers, on Aug. 1, 1964, and passed away at Samaritan Hospital on Dec. 16, 2021. The Rosary and funeral Mass will be held on Jan. 12, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake, Washington. Burial will follow at 12 noon at the Royal Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 900 Apple Ave. NE, Royal City, Washington.

Christine, affectionately known to the family as Tina and professionally known as Chris, attended Red Rock Elementary School and graduated from Royal City High School in 1982. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in communications at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and eventually earned her master’s degree in business administration in southern California.

Christine moved to Los Angeles, living in Newport Beach, and made it her home for over 30 years. She loved L.A. and worked in the administration of Human Resources for FedEx in Irvine, California. She took pride in her position, and her co-workers knew her to be very professional and vibrant; one who took great care in how she presented herself and represented her company and fellow employees.

Her three great loves were the Lord, flying and travel. She traveled to many parts of this world, sharing her faith along the way. Christine had a powerful relationship with the Lord, a relationship that she was willing to share with everyone she met, taking time to pray over anyone she felt had a need. She was a true prayer warrior. Her great faith in God is what directed her to keep going despite various health issues that tried to slow her down. She will be remembered for this faith which she exhibited by that willingness to push forward, knowing God had her on this earth for a reason. She believed God was in control and that she was, at this time in her life, where God wanted her to be. May she rest in peace in his arms.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Elvita, her brother Daniel Delgado and her nephew Jason Delgado. She is survived by her brothers Joseph Delgado and Michael Delgado and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the members of Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Ministry who visited and prayed with Christine while she resided in the Monroe House. They would further like to thank the staff at Pioneer Memorial who assisted them so graciously through this difficult time.
