July 29, 1932 – February 3, 2022

Betty Jean Crompton was born in Flint, Michigan, on July 29, 1932, and was called home to the Lord on Feb. 3, 2022, in Moses Lake, Washington. Words cannot express how deeply she is missed.

She was a kind and loving individual who spent most of her life in Moses Lake surrounded by friends and family. She will always be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, her gentle demeanor and an amazing sense of humor.

She was a vibrant person who loved life and her family. While her passage is deeply felt by those she has left behind, they are secure in the knowledge that she is reunited with her family and friends who preceded her.

It is difficult to describe the sum of a life and its impact on those intersecting it. I can only say the the impression she left on those she loves and cared for will be felt forever.

Her husband Richard Johnson; her son David Bell; daughter Ruth Ann Klostermann; her grandchildren Edward Carter and Lisa Davis and three great grandchildren Amberlynn, Hailey and Madison survive Betty.

She is also survived by her younger brothers Joel Rossell and John Rossell, and her younger sister Rebecca Lizama, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Moses Lake Alliance Church at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
