June 6, 1967 – November 20, 2021

Tracey Lyn (Schenck) Enzler finished her time on earth with her husband and daughter by her side on Nov. 20, 2021, after years of giving it her all to overcome pancreatic cancer. Her cancer journey started in 2005 as thyroid cancer. Her dedication to do all she could to promote her health was a testament to the fierce and deeply affectionate love she held for her family, as well as the authentic gratitude she had for her life.

Tracey was born to Delbert Jack and Mary Lee (Fallis) Schenck in Ephrata, Washington, on June 6, 1967. She grew up in the Royal City area with her brother and sister and graduated from Kennewick High School in 1985. In 1988, she met the love of her life, Jon Enzler, and was married on March 10, 1990, in Vancouver, Washington. The couple settled, and remained there until 2020. Jon and Tracey welcomed their only child, Shayla Rae, into their life Sept. 8, 1990, on her Jon’s 22nd birthday!

Tracey was the epitome of a loving and attentive mother. She worked in the business forms printing industry for 11 years while raising Shayla, centering her efforts on blessing and caring for Shayla and her husband. Tracey was very special in how she valued people and relationships. You knew she meant it with every fiber of her being when she said, “I love you,” three words she did not neglect to offer in plenty over the decades. Tracey was an empathetic listener, and had an uncanny ability of hearing two sides to a story while making both sides feel understood and honored due to the tolerant presence she embodied. She was very connected and engaged with her family and many friends and was hospitable to the core. She had a relentless thirst for knowledge and her inquisitiveness inspired her to be a voracious reader. She also enjoyed camping, boating and gardening. As Shayla started high school, Tracey started working in administration for the small family business, and provided a level of organization and stellar customer service that was a perfect fit for her ambition and personality.

Those who were blessed to know Tracey will remember the warmth of her hugs, her unquenchable optimism, the way she could revert to undignified silliness if it meant making children laugh, and the deep roots of her faith in God, Jesus, and the path to heaven He invites all mankind to journey.

Tracey is preceded in passing by her father Jack Schenck and her sister-in-law, Jill Enzler. She is survived by her husband of over 31 years Jon Enzler; her daughter Shayla Anderson (Jake) and her granddaughters Chloe and Savannah Anderson; her mother Mary Schenck, her brother and sister Mike Schenck and Jackie Schenck; and her brother-in-law Jeff Enzler (Kamelia), as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Honoring Tracey’s wishes, her celebration of life memorial service will be held June 11, 2022, at Lake Roosevelt Bible Church in Seven Bays, Washington. More details to follow soon.
