Susie Bensal (Sue)

Sue was welcomed home by the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, after a short illness. Sue was a kind soul who loved all of her animals and her family. Sue always had a zest for life and was eager to spend time doing fun and exciting things, such as visiting amusement parks, playing the game Rabbit with friends and spending time with her family. She especially loved traveling, although it became harder for her in her later years.

Sue was preceded in death by her loving parents David and Betty Bensal, her sister Jessie Bettes, brother-in-law Dave Bettes and her daughter Betty Sue Bensal.

Sue is survived by her sons Dave and Mike Bensal, grandsons David Lee Bensal-Thurman and Dustin Warner Jr.; granddaughters Kimberly, Kristy and Makayla Bensal; great-grandson Thomas Bensal and great granddaughter Hayley Bensal; sister Josephine (Jerry) Kopp; nephews Brian and Brandon Bettes and niece Marcy Becher. She also leaves behind close family friends Bob Richardson, Katrina (Jonifer) Balderas, Rebekah Kehn and Julie Milburn.

Sue will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a bright light with a lot of sass and will not be forgotten easily.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations should be made to Grant County Animal Outreach in Sue’s name.
