Notice of Application Notice is hereby given that a JARPA (Shoreline Conditional Use Permit) was received by Grant County on January 21, 2022 from Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County (Designated Contact: Kylee Watkins, P.O. Box 878, Ephrata, WA 98823) and was found to be technically complete on February 1, 2022. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To construct a soldier pile wall to stop the sand erosion that is overtaking the picnic grassy area. Native plantings will be installed on the island in the shoreline non-beach area. Planting mitigation shall be equal to the size of the footprint of the wall. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: Cultural Resource Assessment. LOCATION: The project site is a public beach area inside of the Crescent Bar Riverbend Park. The site is located at 8431 NW RD W.6, Quincy, Washington 98848. More specifically located in that portion of Sections 19 and 30, Township 20 North, Range 23 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #14-1325-000 SHORELINE ENVIRONMENT: Sand. ZONING: Rural Remote. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
