Lyle Deforrest Nichols

Lyle was born in February of 1953 in Kirkland, Washington. After a long battle with cancer, Lyle has gone to be with the Lord on Jan. 31, 2022.

Lyle cherished his family with his every being. He will be missed greatly; he was truly grateful to have met and touched so many people throughout the 40 years of his trucking career. Lyle loved camping and fishing and he had many great childhood memories of himself and his sisters enjoying Lake Kachess.

Lyle is preceded in death by his parents Reid and Betty Nichols, his stepdaughter Mary Sorley and his step-granddaughter Katrina. Lyle is survived by his significant other Rae Nichols of Moses Lake, Washington; his sisters Arloa Gilmore of North Bend, Washington, Reida and Terry Wegman of Leavenworth, Washington and Peggy and Clark Gunther of Florida; his children Paul Edward Nichols, Lyle Jr. Nichols of Michigan and Racheal Nichols of Georgia; stepchildren Jim Knottoff of Washington, Bob Shephard of Washington, Vicki (Ditter) Fitch of Washington and Lisa Davis of Idaho; and several grandchildren as well.
