Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife was one of four agencies involved in the 2022 Shop with a Cop held in Moses Lake last week.
Law enforcement personnel were paired with a child to shop for themselves and the rest of their family for Christmas gifts at the Shop with a Cop event last week.
Other agencies involved in Shop with a Cop 2022 included Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Moses Lake Police Department and Warden Police Department.
One officer and a child had a sword fight - the officer claimed he won but that has not been confirmed.

MOSES LAKE – With collaboration between Moses Lake Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Warden Police Department and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Shop with a Cop 2022 was a huge success, officials said. Children and their families were served pizza before heading out to the Moses Lake Walmart sales floor to do their Christmas shopping. After all was said and done, the children were able to take home newly bought and wrapped gifts to place under the Christmas tree in anticipation of Christmas Day.
