Grant County Seeking Public Input at Open House for Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan, December 7th on The Base Grant County will host an open house public meeting on December 7th at the Sheriff’s Office on The Base (1274 Lowry St.), 3 pm, to seek input as it continues working to update its plan to provide access to county facilities and services.  The county is currently developing an Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plan, taking a comprehensive look at its programs, services and facilities for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act; including sidewalks, curb ramps, and pedestrian facilities. In addition to the open house meeting, the county has also launched an online evaluation survey (Survey in English https://forms.gle/ckU8nJpwamN839pH7, Encuesta en línea https://forms.gle/hCq45DAg6QhbVY6X8). Hard copies of the survey are available upon request.  Those with a disability requiring an accommodation to attend and participate in the public meeting may contact Katherine Bren at 509-754-6082 or by email, kbren@grantcountywa.gov, no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.
