'A whole new Wahluke'
This is head coach Anfernee Cortez’s third season with the Warriors and said he is excited to show other teams a whole new Wahluke team.

“It’s kind of a new Wahluke team that teams haven't really seen,” head coach Anfernee Cortez said.
Cortez said that in the off-season the team has worked to build work ethic and commitment.
Wahluke players stretch at the beginning of practice, learning the fundamentals and preparing themselves for the season ahead.
The Wahluke Warriors football team is looking to make a state appearance this season, which would be the first time in nearly 20 years.
The Wahluke football team has many new faces this year thanks to recruiting efforts by the coaches hoping to bring their numbers up.
