Lacey Lyndell Radel (Hoffman)

| August 30, 2022 10:29 AM

1982-2022

On Friday, Aug, 26, 2022, at the age of 39, at her home in Moses Lake Washington, surrounded by her close family, and friends Lacey departed this earth to become one of God’s angels and to be reunited in heaven with her deceased family and friends. She had fought a courageous, 22-year battle with various forms of cancer during her shortened life on earth.

She was born Oct. 13, 1982, in Wenatchee, Washington, and resided in Moses Lake her entire life. Lacey attended Moses Lake High School and was active in sports and gymnastics in her youth, but especially loved participating with the high school drill team, where she made many close lifelong friends. Lacey was extremely dedicated and passionate in everything she did: sports, school, her job, her marriage and her family and friends.

Lacey graduated from the University of Washington, and then the Big Bend Community College nursing program. She attained her RN license and worked for Samaritan Hospital and gained valuable nursing and patient care skills, which led to her management position with Samaritan Health Care. Due to her own health challenges, she was very compassionate and empathetic with her patient care profession. She loved the beach, boating, camping and entertaining friends and family at her home, and especially loved her husband and daughter and being a mom.

Lacey is survived by her husband Ian, daughter Reece and parents Steve and Deborah Hoffman, all from Moses Lake; brother Dayton (Vera) Hoffman of Boerne, Texas and sister Haley (Branden) Torrey of Moses Lake, Washington, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in care of Kaysers Chapel & Crematory in Moses Lake. A celebration of Lacey's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, at the Moses Lake Presbyterian Church, 1142 W. Ivy, with a reception to follow at the church. Please come prepared to help honor Lacey and share stories of how she touched your life.

Please express your thoughts and memories at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are under the care of Kayser’s Chapel of Memories of Moses Lake, Washington.
