Cathy Seibel

December 19, 1955 – August 13, 2022

Beloved Cathy Seibel, 66, passed away in Moses Lake on Aug. 13, 2022. Cathy was born in Portland, Oregon on Dec. 19, 1955. Her parents moved to Scappoose, Oregon, where Cathy was born and raised. She attended Scappoose High School, where she cheerleaded every Friday with her squad. Cathy graduated from beauty school in the ’70s and worked as a hairstylist. Her job became not only a source of income but also a source of enjoyment for her. She devoted her life to her profession. During a trip to the Moses Lake area, Cathy met Ron Seibel. They fell in love with each other instantly and eventually got married in 1980. Together they had one kid, Bryan Seibel.

After marrying Ron, she moved to Moses Lake and started her career as a stylist here. You could tell people loved her, as her agenda filled up quickly. Her customers became her friends, and Cathy will always be remembered for having a kind word along with her beautiful laughter for everyone that needed a haircut. She worked as a hairstylist until she retired in May 2019.

Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron Seibel, their son Bryan and her daughter-in-law Valeria as well as her grandkids Natalia, Esteban and Marcus.

A life, so beautiful, deserves a special celebration. Please help us honor her life the way she wanted. Bring your stories, your laughs and your happiness over a life that was lived to the fullest. The celebration will take place on Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. at Zamora Park. Food and drinks will be provided to help salute and regard her with the highest esteem.
