Confluence Health to rename Moses Lake location
MOSES LAKE — The Confluence Health Moses Lake Clinic at 840 E. Hill Avenue will get a new name by the summer of 2023, according to a Confluence press release.
Confluence Health officials announced in the press release Monday that the clinic will be known as the Moses Lake Campus once the changes are complete. Central Washington Hospital and Wenatchee Valley Hospital also will get new names, according to the press release.
Changing the name from a clinic to a campus is a better reflection of the services offered in Moses Lake, the press release said. The Confluence Health clinic in Omak also will be renamed as a campus.
Central Washington Hospital will become the Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus, and Wenatchee Valley Hospital will be the Confluence Health Hospital Mares Campus. The new name for Wenatchee Valley Hospital reflects its history; Dr. L. Martin Mares was one of the founders of Wenatchee Valley Clinic in 1940, the forerunner for Wenatchee Valley Hospital.
Other rural health clinics operated by Confluence Health will continue to be called clinics, the press release said.
