NOTICE OF NON-PROJECT SEPA THRESHOLD DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) City of Mattawa 521 Government Road Mattawa, WA 99349 August 9, 2022 Project Name: City of Mattawa 2022 Water System Plan Agency File Number: Water System Plan 2022 Project Description: A non-project action to update the City of Mattawa's Comprehensive Water System Plan, Proponent: City of Mattawa - Public Works Location: The Mattawa city limits and portions of the unincorporated County in the city's water service area. Lead Agency: City of Mattawa Determination: The City of Mattawa has determined that this non-project proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.210.030(2)(c). This determination was made after review of the completed environmental checklist and other inforination on file with the lead agency. Information on the process and the project is available to the public upon request at Mattawa City Hall. Comment Period: This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issuance. Comments must be submitted by the end of the business day on August 26, 2022.
