The inductees are Brandi (Evans) Faith, Troy Zerb, Greg Metcalf, Richard Mayer, Jacob Laird and the 1984 Girls Cross Country Team.

“In Ephrata, we strive to instill excellence into each of our athletic programs,” said Bryan Johnson, Ephrata High School Athletic Director in the release. According to the release, to be considered for the Ephrata High School Athletic Hall of Fame, student-athlete nominees must have graduated from Ephrata High School at least five years prior to induction and played varsity sports for at least two years. In addition, they must have achieved one of the following accomplishments: named first team all-conference; named first team all-state; received a top three state medal for any individual sport; named district champion in an individual sport; received a prestigious award (all-American, etc.) or achieved other exceptional performances in a sport.

The Athletic Hall of Fame is a collaboration between Ephrata High School and the Tiger Boosters club, the release stated. A board of 13 individuals oversees the Hall of Fame. Nominees must receive a vote of 75 percent of the board members to be inducted.

The 2022 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be celebrated during a banquet tentatively set for Oct. 1, the release stated. This is the third class of Hall of Fame inductees. The group joins 18 individuals and two teams from prior years, according to the release.
