Basin Brief: Deadline for lodging tax grants extended

EPHRATA — Applications for the second round of grants from Grant County’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee will be accepted through 5 p.m. May 6. Grant County Commissioners announced an extension of the deadline Friday.

The second round is only for organizations that are sponsoring events, according to a commission press release. All applications must be in the commission office by 5 p.m. May 6, the press release said.

Information on how to apply, the county guidelines and application forms are available on the county’s website, www.grantcountywa.gov, under the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee tab.
