Tire disposal event scheduled

QUINCY — Grant County residents can dispose of old tires for free in Quincy, April 22-23.
The event allows Grant County residents to dispose of passenger or light truck tires for free. Tires must be 35 inches or less, with or without rims but rims alone will not be accepted. They must be household tires and not commercial tires. The event will accept up to 12 old tires per load.
Residents must secure their loads, stack their own tires and bring a recent utility bill or state I.D. with their current address on them.
The event will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grant County Road district Shop #3, located at 4718 Road P NW, Quincy.
