Report of tree stumps stolen in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue Southwest. Reporting party had cut a tree on her property and a female subject approached and asked if she could purchase the stumps. The owner declined to sell and the stumps were later stolen.

Terry La Shawn Austin, 41, Moses Lake, booked on fourth-degree assault – domestic violence as well as Grant County District Court warrants relating to fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and failure to transfer title within 45 days.

Report of a vehicle colliding with a power pole and then leaving the scene in the area of South Gibby Road and West Broadway Avenue.
Report of a fence damaged in the 500 block of West Loop Drive.
Report of a damaged water valve in the 1100 block of West Market Street. The owner of a residence that was being used by squatters had requested that the water service be shut off. The water service put a lock on the valve and someone cut off the lock and damaged the valve. Damage was estimated at $2,493,20.
Report of a two-vehicle rear-end collision at North Stratford and Mart roads.
Report of containers stolen from a backyard in the 1500 block of North Buell Street.
Report of a two-vehicle non-injury collision in the 800 block of West Third Avenue. Vehicle 1 pulled away from a stop sign and struck vehicle 2 in the right lane of travel. Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the rear driver’s-side bumper and vehicle 2 sustained damage to the front bumper, license plate and grill.
Report of a case of beer stolen from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way.
Report of a two-vehicle collision in the area of state Route 17 and South Pioneer Way. Both vehicles were turning left in their respective lanes when vehicle 1 entered vehicle 2’s lane of travel and struck vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 2 was transported to the hospital.

Report of a vehicle with a firearm inside stolen from the 800 block of South Kiefer Drive.
Report of a hit-and-run in the 200 block of West Knolls Vista Drive.
Report of a log splitter and a dolly stolen in the 1100 block of West Vue Street. Police had already recovered the property and it was returned to the owner.
Report of a stolen vehicle recovered on the 1400 block of West Marina Drive. The catalytic converter had been cut but was still on the vehicle. A firearm that had been inside the vehicle was not recovered.
